Does Jmeter support performance...Hi Tushar/Sujata,

Does Jmeter support performance testing of Liferay portal’s authenticated pages?

Currently "auth.token.check.enabled = TRUE" in portal-ext.properties file. Liferay uses Portal Authentication Token p_auth to prevent CSRF attack. This token is included in every action request in the portal by including the "p_auth" parameter in URL.

We are using Regular Expression Extractor to extract p_auth token. But while running we are getting 403 forbidden error.

We requested client to set auth.token.check.enabled as False, but the client want to test without changing the configurations. Is this possible or do we have any other solution. Kindly suggest

Regards

Rajeev
Regards
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01360301595803943056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-184488105715884870.post-63333457285830720182016-02-08T16:48:49.134+05:302016-02-08T16:48:49.134+05:30Aweosme OneAweosme OneAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12450362996468240299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-184488105715884870.post-82145661424648983222015-10-08T17:46:43.280+05:302015-10-08T17:46:43.280+05:30That's a nice blog. The scenerio you mention...@Chandraprakash Sarathe

The scenerio you mentioned can be achieved by using a CSV file having username and password combinations. The thread group will use one row of that file each time it logs into the site. The sampler where we pass username and password will need variable placeholders to use this dynamic data. You can get help for this feature by a little search.

Quick answer to your question is yes, that is possible.Tushar Joshihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03931011991029693685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-184488105715884870.post-31082468298501286872014-02-06T13:02:02.401+05:302014-02-06T13:02:02.401+05:30This is a nice article and easy to understand....I...This is a nice article and easy to understand....I have one query, hopefully I can get answer.
Using thread group one can test multiple users but what if there is login based application and I want to login with unique user id and password for each web request.Chandraprakash Sarathehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04029778986986279281noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-184488105715884870.post-91577550952681766122014-02-06T12:31:39.303+05:302014-02-06T12:31:39.303+05:30Nice article.....ThanksNice article.....ThanksLasithahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05891712348524282569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-184488105715884870.post-33360903471458752662014-01-22T16:50:46.448+05:302014-01-22T16:50:46.448+05:30Crisp and clearCrisp and clearRupahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05756661570517743133noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-184488105715884870.post-23461547367200157852013-12-19T16:17:17.465+05:302013-12-19T16:17:17.465+05:30ThanksThanksranjan royhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11382935586218288108noreply@blogger.com
